Children are regurlarly assessed at school and if a particular difficulty is identified, then special provision is provided and specific learning programmes may need to be drawn up.
We receive support and advice from Local Authority agencies such as Speech and Language specialists, Educational Psychologists as well as other advisory services.
The school Admissions Policy is fully inclusive in that no pupil would be refused a school place because of a Special Education Need or a Disability.
Resources including Teaching Assistants are organised so that disabled pupils may take part in school life as much as possible and therefore they are not treated less favourably than other pupils.
There is a disabled toilet in each block and wider access to a toilet outside of the Community Room. The school has many ramped areas.
